How to keep shutdown and restart buttons on your taskbar or desktop

First, we will create the shortcuts for shutdown and restart and then we will pin it to our taskbar. Let me show you how.

1. Right click on a empty area on desktop, and click on New and select Shortcut.

2. To create the shortcut for shutdown,  write Shutdown.exe -s -t 00 and then click on Next.

                                                                 (or)

    To create the shortcut for restart,       write Shutdown.exe -r -t 00 and then click on Next.

3. Now give the shortcut a name, write XXX and then click on Finish.

4. The shortcut you will create won't have an icon. You can give it an icon by Right clicking on the file and then select Properties and then go to shortcut tab and select Change Icon at bottom.

5. you can simply drag them to your taskbar or you may right click on the files and then select Pin to Taskbar.
