Change your computer's password using Command Prompt (CMD)



Changing the computer's password using CMD is very easy and hardly takes a minute. It not only saves time but also you can do some mischief using this trick cause while changing the password using CMD, you don't have to type the old password.
  • Click on the Start button and then in the search box, type CMD.
  • Now right click on CMD and then select "Run as Administrator". (You must run CMD as administrator or else it won't work).
  • Now type the following commands in Command prompt (CMD).
Net user
Net user Computer name *
Then type the new password.
Again re type the same new password
Press enter key and you are done!

Note:
  • Replace Computer name with the name of the computer.
  • The password that you will type will not be shown.
